Cornsilog
I prepared cornsilog today because my nephews requested for it, they said, what is "cornsilog"? Is it made with corn? I said "No, it's a meal composed of corned beef, fried rice and fried egg, in Tagalog fried rice is "sinangag" and egg is "itlog" so instead of naming it one by one they shortened it to "cornsilog". They replied with "ahhhhhhh" :-).
I prepared this by frying the eggs, then I sauteed one can of corned beef and added some onion. After I cooked the corned beef I transferred it into a bowl and put some rice in the pan where I cooked the corned beef for a savory fried rice.

Scrambled Egg Sandwich
Tonight is a survival night for me, do you know why? Because it's raining, therefore the stores were closed now, and I do not have a lighter or anything I could use to on the stove, after almost 20 minutes of searching something to light the stove I gave up, then I turned on the oven to 200C, beat an egg, grease the baking pan, poured in the beaten egg, sprinkled it with salt and pepper, then put in the oven after 2 minutes it's cooked, I sliced a burger bun and heat it in the oven too after a minute or two I removed it and assembled my sandwich with some cream cottage cheese, lettuce and apple slices, presto! I survived! I enjoyed my sandwich, yummy!

Hotsilog
Silogs are breakfast combos in the Philippines and one of the popular silogs is HOTSILOG which is composed of hotdog, fried rice and fried egg. HOT from hotdog, SI from sinangag a Filipino term for fried rice then LOG from itlog , a Filipino term for egg. This is very easy to prepare, by just cooking each item individually, then arrange in a platter then serve.
For Fried Rice
In a pan put 1 tablespoon oil then 2 cloves mince garlic then saute and add 1 cup of rice then stir until done and set aside.
For the hotdog, you can fry it or cook it the way I did, put a little water in the pan and a little butter then let boil and increase the heat until the liquid is gone then remove the hotdogs and set aside.
For the egg, I poached it, or cooked it in the water. Click here poached egg
After cooking everything arrange in a platter then serve hot and do not forget to smile :-)
