How To Make an Easy Dessert


Simple yet delicious and very easy to prepare. Affordable and enough for the whole family.

Ingredients for 15 servings:
500 grams white small sago (cooked and drained)
1 sachet green gelatine powdered (unflavored)
1 sachet red gelatine powder ( unflavored)
2 cans condensed milk or  add according to your taste
2 cups fresh milk or evaporated milk
1 litre All purpose cream(Nestle, Alaska, Magnolia, Etc)

Procedure:
1. Cook each gelatine then set aside and diced.
2. In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients then mix well.
3. Refrigerate before serving.



I recooked today (August 1) for a friends birthday and everybody likes it. I used green and orange gelatin



I dropped some raisins to my bowl and it's superb!

Macaroni Sago Salad


I am spending time with my nephews and nieces for few weeks now and I am happy preparing their after school snacks, and since they loved colorful ingredients, I've decided to put colored sago in one of their favorite macaroni salad. Oh they loved it so much!

Ginisang Buko at Malunggay




A combination of two nutritious ingredients that will surely satisfy your hunger.

Ingredients for 3 servings:
2 buko ( scraped)
1 cup malunggay leaves
2 cups buko water
2 cloves garlic (minced)
2 stalks spring onion
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Saute the garlic then add the buko meat and stir for 2 minutes.
2. Add the buko water and bring to a boil, then simmer for 3 minutes.
3. Add salt and pepper to taste then simmer for a minute and add the malunggay and spring onion, stir well then turn off the heat.
4. Serve it hot.

Beanstek


A delicious string beans dish that's cooked like Bistek. Yummier than adobong sitaw, try it.

Ingredients:
2 bunches string beans
1 onion ( cut into rings)
2 cloves garlic
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons calamansi or lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
string beans
Procedure:
1. Saute the garlic then add the onion ( remove some onion slices to to garnish when serving)
2. Add the chicken and stir until pinkish color is gone, add the beans and give a good stir until half cooked.
3. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well then simmer until done.
4. Put the reserve onion rings then serve.

Mely's Kitchen Banana Delight


Yummy! The best for your parties or special gatherings, this is also budget friendly.

Ingredients for 8-10 servings:
3/4 kilo sliced banana ( you can use lakatan, cavendish, latondan)
1/2 cup condensed milk or according to your taste
1 1/2 cup Nestle Cream
1 cup chocolate coco crunch
1/2 cup corn kernel
some chocolate coated wafer

Procedure:
1. Combine the milk and cream then add the sliced banana, and mix well.
2. Cover and refrigerate for few hours, decorate with corn kernel, coco crunch, chocolate wafer, or anything you want to use for decoration then serve.

Graham Peanut Ball


I never thought that what I imagined, turned into a delicious chocolatey and nutty sweet treat that is so addicting in every bite. This is very easy to prepare, I hope that you will try this recipe and let me know about it.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup graham biscuit powder
1/2 cup peanut  powder ( you can use a blender for this)
1/2 cup condensed milk (add if needed)
1 tablespoon melted butter

Procedure:
1. Combine all the ingredients until it forms a ball with a dough-like texture.

 If the mixture is too dry, add a little condensed milk.
2. Form into balls then roll over the crumbled or powdered peanuts then serve or you can wrap it with water cellophane like yema and store in an air tight jar and serve anytime you want it.


If Graham cracker is not available you can replace it with this or any biscuit the same with Graham.

Eggplant Sisig


Sisig is a popular Filipino dish made of pork cheeks, liver etc, and I love sisig, but can we cook it  using eggplant to replace the pork cheeks and ears? Well, it can be and here is the evidence, you must try this recipe that I invented ( July 18, 2013). Eggplant sisig is the best. Try it.


Ingredients for 3 servings:
250 grams Eggplant
100 grams pork liver
25 grams bell pepper
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
3 tablespoons lemon or calamansi juice
5 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1 egg

Procedure:
1. Slice the eggplant, liver, onion, bell pepper into dice.
2. Saute the garlic and onion then add the liver and bell pepper then simmer for a minute.
3. Add the eggplant, soy sauce and lemon juice then simmer until soften.




4. Add the water then simmer until done, then sprinkle with spring onion, crack the egg then serve.

Salmon with Spinach


No oil and loaded with zinc from spinach and protein from salmon what more could you ask for? Try this healthy salmon recipe and enjoy your food.

Ingredients:
400 grams salmon
1 tomato
3 stalks spring onion
1 teaspoon ginger extract( shred the ginger then extract the juice)
3 cups spinach
1 1/2 cups water
salt
pepper

Procedure:
1. Slice the tomato and put in a pot, then the fish, put the white part of the spring onion, ginger extract, salt and pepper, cover over low heat and allow to boil and simmer until the fish produce its own juice.
2. After few minutes of simmering the fish in its own juice, increase the heat and add the water then bring to boil.
3. Once boiling finalize the taste then add the spinach and spring onion, simmer until cooked.
4. Serve it hot and enjoy.

Fried Tilapia Bistek Style


Bored of just fried tilapia? Add a spice to it and turn it into a more delicious dish by having a little twist with it. Chop some onion squeezed a lemon and if bitter melon is available add some, pronto! a new delicious dish is ready to be served. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
3 fried Tilapia
2 onions ( sliced into rings)
1 bitter melon
1/4 cup lemon juice or calamansi
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 cups water
ground pepper ( optional)


Procedure:
1. Saute the onion then add the bitter melon after 2 minutes remove it all and set aside.
2. Pour in the water, soy sauce, ground pepper and lemon juice then let boil, add some sauteed onion and simmer for few minutes.
3. Add the fried tilapia and simmer allowing the fish to be soften, then add the sauteed onion and bitter melon.
4. Simmer for a minute and turn the heat off.
5. Serve it hot.
