Sweet Peanuts Recipe – Matamis at Malutong na Mani

Ang Sweet Peanuts ay isa sa mga paborito kong meryenda mula pa noong bata ako. Gustong-gusto ko ang matamis at malutong na mani, kaya nang matutunan ko kung paano ito gawin, naging isa ito sa mga madalas kong ihanda lalo na kapag may family gathering.

Simple lang ang mga sangkap dahil mani, asukal at tubig lang ang kailangan. Hindi rin ito kailangang iprito—pakukuluan lamang ang lahat hanggang ma-caramelize ang asukal at tuluyang mabalutan ang mga mani. Kapag lumamig na, magiging malutong at masarap itong pang-meryenda.

Mga Sangkap:

 
1 kilo mani
2 tasa asukal
4 tasa tubig

Paraan ng Pagluluto:


1. Ilagay ang mani, asukal at tubig sa isang malapad na kawali. Pakuluin sa katamtamang init.
2. Ipagpatuloy ang pagpapakulo hanggang magsimulang mag-caramelize ang asukal.




3. Haluin nang mabuti at bantayan upang hindi masunog ang asukal.
4. Ipagpatuloy ang paghahalo hanggang matunaw ang asukal at tuluyang mabalutan nito ang mga mani.
5. Ilipat ang Sweet Peanuts sa isang tray at hayaang lumamig nang tuluyan. Kapag malamig na at malutong na, ilagay sa malinis na garapon o airtight container.

Cooking Tips:

1. Gumamit ng malapad na kawali para mas pantay na maluto at madaling mahalo ang mani habang nagca-caramelize ang asukal.
2. Huwag lakasan nang sobra ang apoy dahil madaling masunog ang caramelized sugar.
3. Patuloy na haluin kapag nagsisimula nang matuyo ang tubig upang hindi dumikit o masunog ang asukal.
4. Huwag mag-alala kapag natuyo muna ang mixture habang niluluto. Ipagpatuloy lamang ang paghahalo hanggang matunaw at mabalot ng asukal ang mga mani.
5. Hayaang lumamig nang tuluyan bago ilagay sa garapon o airtight container para manatiling malutong ang Sweet Peanuts.

FAQs:

1. Kailangan bang iprito ang Sweet Peanuts?
Hindi. Ang Sweet Peanuts na ito ay hindi piniprito. Ang mani, asukal at tubig ay sabay-sabay na niluluto hanggang mag-caramelize ang asukal at mabalutan ang mga mani.

2. Bakit kailangang palamigin muna ang Sweet Peanuts?
Kapag mainit pa ang Sweet Peanuts, hindi pa ito ganap na malutong. Nagiging crispy at crunchy ito habang lumalamig.

3. Paano maiiwasang masunog ang asukal?
Panatilihin ang katamtamang init at patuloy na haluin ang mani kapag nagsisimula nang mag-caramelize ang asukal.

4. Saan dapat ilagay ang Sweet Peanuts pagkatapos lumamig?

Ang Sweet Peanuts ay isang napakasimpleng meryenda na tatlong pangunahing sangkap lang ang kailangan. Hindi man ito piniprito, nagiging matamis, makintab at malutong ang mani kapag nag-caramelize nang maayos ang asukal.

Kapag lumamig na, ilagay lamang sa airtight container at mayroon ka nang masarap na homemade snack na puwedeng ihain anumang oras.

  1. so I have to mix the 4C.water, 4C.peanut and the 2C.sugarand let it boil?? until the sugar is melted so its not fried? its boiled sweet peanut sorry but just wondering because I like this????if you don't mind me asking am I correct with my understanding coz I want to make like this...YES it looks yummy!!!

    1. yes absolutely not fried, you are correct , mix everything let boil until sugar is melted continue stirring until it become crispy and sugar coated

    2. when it is hot it is not crunchy so let cool for a while, then when it is cold alread keep in the jar or air tight container to keep it crunchy

    1. :) I'm glad you liked it, yes not fried! :) when you cook it once the water evaporates it will be dried dont be scared just continue stirring and maintain the heat, it will make the sugar melt then will start to look shiny and brownish until you come up with the finished product like the one in the picture, but do not put too much heat because the sugar can burn easily.
