Pan Fried Pork Chop With Bell Pepper and Green Peas


Ingredients for 3 servings:

3 slices pork Chop (sliced into halves)
1 red bell pepper (sliced)
1 green bell pepper (sliced)
1/4 cup green peas
1 tablespoons lemon or lime juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons butter or oil
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:

1. Season the pork chop with salt and pepper, set aside.
2. Heat the pan and butter, put the sliced pork chop and pan grilled it. 
3. When the pork chops are cooked, add the bell peppers, green peas, soy sauce and lemon then mix well, season with salt and pepper if needed then mix well and turn off the heat.
4. Serve and enjoy.

Pan Seared Pork Tenderloin



Today, I prepared a seared tenderloin very simply but very yummy. My husband liked it so much.

Ingredients for 4 servings:
500 grams pork tenderloin ( slice to your desired size)
1 teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon lemon or calamnsi juice
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 tablespoons oil
salt and pepper to taste


Procedure:
1.In a mixing bowl put the meat slices then sprinkle it with lemon juice, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
2. Heat the oil, then put the tenderloin slices and sear it.
3. When almost done,  add the butter and continue searing until done.


4. Serve with a big smile :-).



I made a Thai red curry rice to pair with this tenderloin and sprinkle it with hot sauce, it's a perfect combination.

Classic Pork Chop



My favorite lunch box item during my grade school days :-)


Ingredients:
4 pieces pork chop
2 teaspoon soy sauce
1 lime or 4 calamansi
salt and pepper to taste




Procedure:
1. Mix all the ingredients  and marinate for 30 minutes
2. Heat the oil and deep fry it until it is done.
3. Serve it hot.

Nilagang Pata ng Baboy

Nilagang Pata


I am craving for a soup today, that's why I cooked this Filipino dish called "nilaga". Simple dish cooked in water.

Ingredients:
1 kilo pork leg (pata)
1 small onion
1/2 kilo cabbage
1 teaspoon crushed ginger
1/2 teaspoon whole black pepper
water
salt to taste

Procedure:
1. In a pot put the meat, water, black pepper, ginger and onion, bring to a boil then simmer until the meat is tender.
2. Add the cabbage and salt to taste then simmer until done.
3. Serve it hot with rice.

Spicy Pork Ribs





If you love a chili hot taste, you must try this easy pork ribs recipe. 


Ingredients:
3 kilos pork ribs ( slice to your desired size)
1/2 cup chili flakes
1 cup soy sauce
2 pieces laurel
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 cup tomato paste or tomato sauce
1 litre water
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Marinate the pork with chili flakes, laurel,soy sauce, salt and pepper for at least 30 minutes to allow the meat to absorb the flavors. 
2. Saute the garlic, then add the marinated meat ( keep the marinating sauce for later use)then braise until a little brownish  then add the marinating sauce and simmer for 3 minutes.
3. Add the tomato paste, let simmer for few minutes then stir well to coat the meat with the tomato paste evenly, continue to simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Add the water and simmer for 30 minutes or until the meat is tender, 

5. Serve and enjoy. I added hard boiled eggs when I served this to my friends :-).

If you want to use fresh chili, just chop it then use the amount according to your taste.

How to Cook Pata Tim Easily

Try this recipe and you will not regret :-). Simple and easy but you can add some star aniseed and bok choy (pechay). I caramelized the sugar for its aroma and thickness of the sauce, but if you don't want to do it this way it's alright.Enjoy your cooking.

Ingredients:
1 pork leg  (pata)
3 cloves garlic (crushed)
2 tablespoons sugar or according to your taste
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
3 cups water (add if needed) 
1 tablespoon pepper corn (pamintang buo)
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. In a big pot, put the sugar over medium heat then caramelized it, after caramelizing the sugar, add the soy sauce, pineapple juice, pepper corn, garlic, water and the pork leg then cook over medium heat until tender.
2. When it's tender, add the oyster sauce and stir well, let it simmer for few minutes then add salt and pepper if needed, allow to simmer for a minute then turn off the heat.
3. Serve hot with a big smile :-).




If the pork leg takes time to cook just add water and allow to simmer until tender, then when almost done cooking increase the heat to high to evaporate it to thicken the sauce.

How To Cook Pork Steak Easily


This recipe is enough for a big family :-) like mine. If Kikkoman soy sauce is not available just replace it with the common soy sauce in the kitchen but reduce it to 50ml. Start cooking now and let me know if your loved ones gave you thumbs up.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 kilo pork ( sliced flat and thin)
1  cup soy sauce (common kitchen soy sauce)
80 ml  Kikkoman soy sauce
80 ml lime or lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
5 onion (sliced into rings)

Procedure:

1. Marinate the sliced pork with lemon juice, soy sauces and ground pepper.Let stand for 30 minutes.


2. Saute the onion and remove some for the toppings later. Remove the pork from the marinating sauce, and stir in with the onion and stir until the pinkish color is gone, then add the marinating sauce then simmer while stirring occasionally until done. Add salt if needed.


3. When done, put the sauteed onion that you reserved earlier then serve with love :-).
