Deep Fried Salmon

This crispy salmon goes well with vegetable salad.

Ingredients for 2 servings:
250 grams salmon
1 tablespoon lemon or calamansi juice
salt and pepper
 oil for frying

Procedure:
1. Clean the salmon and sprinkle it with lemon juice, salt and pepper to taste.
2. Heat the  oil then deep fry the salmon until cooked. 
3. Serve it hot with vegetable salad.

Salmon Steak


Simple yet delicious. I love this with lots of onions, how about you?

Ingredients:
1 serving slice salmon (fried)
1 big onion cut into rings
2 tablespoons lemon or calamansi juice
1/4 cup soy sauce
pinch of ground pepper
oil

Procedure:
1. Heat the oil then saute the onion then add the lemon juice, soy sauce and ground pepper let simmer for a minute.
2. Add the fried fish and simmer for 1 minute on each side.
3. Turn off the heat then serve it with rice.

Salmon Sisig




A healthy version of sisig made from salmon, I cooked this for a friend who can not eat pork.

Ingredients for 3 servings:
1/4 kilo salmon (fried and flaked)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1  onion (minced)
4 cloves garlic (minced)
2  tablespoons lemon or calamansi juice
spring onion
1/2 cup diced different colored bell pepper
salt and pepper to taste

Procedure:
1. Saute the garlic and onion, then add the bell pepper and saute to bring out the aroma.
2. Add the flaked fish, soy sauce, calamansi juice, salt and pepper then stir until well combined, continue stirring until done then sprinkle with spring onion.
3. Serve hot and enjoy.

Tilapia na Paksiw sa Gata

Perfect blending of flavors.

 Ingredients:
2 tilapia ( cleaned )
1/4 teaspoon whole black pepper
1 medium size onion
thumb size ginger (sliced)
3/4 cup vinegar
1 cup coconut milk
siling haba
salt to taste

Procedure:
1. In a cooking pot put the vinegar, all the spices and the fish then cover and bring to a boil.
2. Simmer until the fish is cooked.
3. Add the coconut milk and salt, simmer until done
4. Turn off the heat and serve it hot.
